Offline Scanner

A scanner that cannot phone home.

Point the camera at a document and it finds the page edges, corrects the perspective, straightens the tilt, evens out the lighting, and turns the result into a multi-page PDF — with an optional invisible OCR text layer so the words are searchable. Every step runs on the phone. On Android the app ships with no INTERNET permission in its manifest at all, so the promise is not something you have to take on trust: the operating system will not let it upload anything.

Edge detection while you aim

The page outline is tracked live in the viewfinder, so you know the capture is square before you take it.

One resample, not four

Perspective correction, deskew and rotation are folded into a single warp, so the page is resampled once — text stays crisp instead of softening at each step.

Lighting evened out

Illumination normalisation removes the shadow your own hand casts across the page, without washing out the ink.

Searchable PDFs

On-device OCR writes an invisible text layer under the picture, so the PDF is searchable and selectable without changing how it looks.

Password-protected export

Encrypt the PDF as it is written, for the documents that need it.

Non-destructive editing

The original capture is kept until you delete the document; every adjustment re-renders from it, so nothing degrades as you change your mind.
